This is one of several videos I took of Mark de Clive-Lowe & Vanessa Freeman @ Bohemian Caverns in DC last night. Mark and Vanessa have been touring the world giving these improvised shows called “Freesoul Sessions.” Mark creates beats on the fly with his Akai MPC 3000, then adds the bassline and soulful, jazzy chords with his various synths, and Vanessa lays down the sultry vocals.
